Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Lead to manage large-scale projects from planning to handover. You will ensure uptime, security, and performance of production systems while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong technical expertise in virtualization, storage, NAS, backup solutions, and disaster recovery, with on-call responsibilities to address critical incidents and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

5-10 years of design, deploying, maintaining IT systems, and project management experience.
Experience in virtualization, storage, NAS, backups, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
ITIL Foundation Certification and vendor certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage infrastructure projects from inception to completion with on-time delivery.
Coordinate with stakeholders, engineers, and operations teams across the lifecycle.
Develop technical documentation, runbooks, and handover materials.
Perform system testing, validation, and acceptance prior to go-live.
Ensure smooth knowledge transfer to operations after project closure.
Maintain day-to-day infrastructure operations for uptime and performance.
Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Oversee virtualization, storage, NAS, backup, and DR planning.
