Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice to INSP Business and Infrastructure coverage teams to ensure 1LOD risk is aligned with scale. Advise on control environment, risk assessment and regulatory expectations.
• Deliver expertise across resilience risk areas including Tech, Cyber Security, Data, and Third‑Party risk; challenge risk owners and escalate as needed.
• Support Enterprise Risk and Regulatory reporting obligations (RAS, Risk Profile, RMM, Board reporting).
• Monitor external environment for emerging risks and build cross‑organizational relationships to mitigate them.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as aSenior VicePresident, Resilience Risk.

In this role you will:

• Provide technical advice and support to INSP Business and Infrastructure coverage teams to allow them to understand and ensure the risk for the 1LOD are commensurate with the scale and nature of operations; and Risk and Control Owners clearly understand the effectiveness of the control environment. Such advice may be related to the control environment; risk assessment; impact of issues or events; top and emerging risks that may require changes to remain within respective Risk Appetite; and the development and implementation of localised Risk Management Framework activity as required (e.g. Locally Significant Risks) or to meet local regulatory expectations.
• Deliver tailored and specific expertise across all aspects of Resilience Risk including but not limited to Tech and Cyber Security, Third Party Risk, Data and Processing related risks. Review and challenge across all INSP Business lines. • Provide technical guidance to support development and completion of Enterprise Risk and Regulatory reporting obligations (e.g. RAS, Risk Profile Reporting, RMM, Board reporting where relevant, etc)
• Monitor the local external environment to get early sight of emerging risks and provide detailed guidance on controls required to mitigate against them. Build and maintain relevant cross‑organisation and industry relationships.
• Provide SME and Support Data related initiatives including but not limited to data usage, storage and movement to ensure data controls are appropriately in place to evidence complete with various policy and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct Impacts: Oversee, escrow and provide guidance on the identification of conduct impacts across RR and 1LOD activities, including where control weaknesses and risk events impact the delivery of good outcomes.
• Additional specific responsibilities may be added to this role profile at the direction of the CRCO.

To be successful you will need:

• Extensive experience in enterprise risk management and resilience risk stewardship, including Technology, Cyber Security, Data, Third-Party and related risk domains.
• Strong practical knowledge of control environments, governance frameworks, risk oversight and operational resilience requirements.Broad business and industry awareness, including regulatory, geopolitical, technological, threat, competitor and external risk landscapes.
• Proven ability to provide robust second-line oversight and challenge, applying sound judgement to assess regulatory, financial and reputational impacts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders across Risk, 1LOD, Technology, Data, Third-Party Management, regulators and industry bodies.
• Strong governance and analytical capabilities, including producing high-quality documentation and evidence for senior forums and regulators, while managing complex and varied workloads; a relevant university degree or professional qualification is advantageous.
