Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is looking for an Accountant to handle vessel-related agency accounting and ensure timely e-filing and documentation. The role covers invoicing, receipts, vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and payroll journals, with involvement in month-end closing and balance sheet schedules.

You will prepare monthly revenue comparison, expense and exchange rate reports, support budgeting and internal control audits, and perform ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handle vessel-related agency accounting, including invoicing, receipts, vendor payments, and Statements of Account.
• Prepare monthly revenue comparison, expense, exchange rate, and financial reports.
• Manage general overhead accounting, including invoices, fixed assets, payroll journals, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end closing, balance sheet schedules, budgeting, and internal control audits.
• Ensure accurate accounting entries, proper documentation, and timely e-filing.
• Process vendor invoices, staff claims, and daily receipts.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned.
