Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in entomology or related life science areas would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to systematically perform routine workflow with an eye for detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Able to analyse and interpret data using relevant analytical tools or software.
• Physically fit and possess the physical endurance for field work.
• Proficient in scientific writing, reporting, and communications.
• Valid Class 3 driver's licence with willingness to travel to field sites preferred (vehicle provided if available)

Responsibilities

• Conduct vector surveillance and laboratory studies.
• Mosquito identification, sample processing, data entry and analyses.
• Data entry and analyses, preparation and maintenance of logistics.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams on ongoing projects.
• Travel to field sites for field work and sample collection.
