Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking an experienced UX designer to join NAC ITD as the first embedded designer. You will shape data-driven interfaces, from initial concepts to production, working with product managers, engineers and NAC stakeholders to turn policy needs into testable design directions.

Design dashboards and analytics tools, extend the CCYC design system, and conduct usability research with diverse user groups.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of UX or product design experience with a portfolio that includes at least one shipped data product: dashboards, analytics tools, or reporting interfaces.
• Data visualisations and dashboards: chart selection, information hierarchy, filtering, handling empty/partial/error states.
• Experience gathering requirements for data or analytics products with PMs and engineers.
• End-to-end design: flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, prototyping, usability testing, and handoff.
• Analytical mindset; ability to discuss data with analysts and policy officers.
• Clear communication of design rationale to non-design stakeholders across agencies.
• Autonomy to set priorities and operate independently.
• Proficiency in Figma for UI design and design-system contribution.

Responsibilities

• Design dashboards, visualisations, and analytical interfaces for data.
• Gather and translate requirements with product managers, engineers, and NAC stakeholders.
• Own the full design lifecycle from concept to production, including handoff to engineering.
• Conduct usability tests and user interviews to validate interpretations of data.
• Manage stakeholders across NAC divisions and partner agencies with clear communication.
• Contribute to the CCYC design system with data-visualisation patterns.
