Job summary

Sanofi Group in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Utility Technician to oversee operation and maintenance of facility and utility systems within the EVF project. You will establish end-to-end maintenance solutions for F&U equipment, align with Industry 4.0 initiatives, and coordinate with vendors, automation providers, consultants, and external skid vendors.

The role requires a related diploma and at least 8 years in pharma plant operation and maintenance, with familiarity in GMP/GDP and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma from an accredited technical institution.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of F&U systems & pharmaceutical manufacturing plant experience.
• Prior Boiler operation experience with a Boiler attendant certification is advantageous.
• Experience with GMP/GDP and regulatory audits (FDA, EMA, HSA) and basic technical report writing.

Mission

Vaccines M&S is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Evolutive Vaccine Facility (EVF). The EVF Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable, and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges.

She/He oversees the entire operation and maintenance for site system includes Facility and Utility equipment /Systems. To establish end to end operation and maintenance solutions for F&U equipment and align with Industry and Digital 4.0 initiatives.

The mission’s scope requires a high interactive collaboration with the various best in class, vendors, Automation solution providers, consultants, and external skid vendors.

The Utility Technician will report to Maintenance engineer.

Education and Experience

Education Required

• Related Diploma or Advanced Diploma from an accredited technical institution.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in operation and maintenance of F&U systems & pharmaceutical manufacturing plant experience.
• Prior experience in a Boiler operation with a Boiler attendant certification will be considered advantageous.

Experience Required

• Good technical knowledge coupled with hands‑on working experience in pharmaceutical/ vaccines plant engineering services.
• Good knowledge in pharmaceutical regulatory market requirements and experience in participation of Audits. E.g., - FDA, EMA, HSA & etc,
• Basic technical report writing.
• Support the Maintenance Engineer in annual Maintenance budget cost estimations for accurate forecast projections.
• Perform basic TT (temperature) and PT (pressure) calibrations for F&U equipment.
• Plan, Schedule and execution of Preventive maintenance with the applicable Stakeholders to ensure minimal Production impact without any over dues.
• To lead scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and trouble shooting for the F&U equipment in high volume manufacturing environment.
• Lead to manage the spare part requirements for the F&U equipment(s).
• Strict adherence to GMP and GDP (SOPs, PMs, CMs, etc.). Reporting any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ability to work in overtime requirements as necessary and will require a rotating shift pattern.
• To perform operation and maintenance work in accordance to SOPs and maintenance/Job Plans generated from the CMMS. She/he will also be required to follow up and regularly review and closure of all the work orders in the CMMS.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors / vendors to carry out their duties to make sure maintenance services are successfully carried out.
