• Make decisions, within the given authority, that are consistent with underwriting standards and market trends.
• Review cases with complex medical conditions and multiple risk factors; involve face-to-face and phone/Zoom servicing with Financial Consultants/Agency Leaders; explain underwriting decisions to Business Development Managers/Directors.
• Process a customer request end to end.
• Provide support and services to Financial Consultants on underwriting matters.
• Be involved in ad hoc projects.

Job Profile Summary:

In this role, you will assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies. As part of this dynamic role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the risk and exposures of potential clients.

Job Description:

• Assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies
• Make decisions, within the given authority, that are consistent with underwriting standards and compatible with market trends
• Review cases with complex medical conditions and multiple risk factors. Involved in face to face and phone/zoom calls as a part of servicing duties to the Financial Consultants/Agency Leaders. Also aligning with the Business Development Managers/Directors and explain the underwriting decision.
• Process a customer request end to end
• Provide support and services to Financial Consultants on matters relating to underwriting
• Be involved in ad hoc projects
