Job summary

Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Limited is seeking an experienced underwriter to assess medical and financial risks for life and health insurance applicants. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate risk exposures and make decisions within authority thresholds.

The role requires 3+ years in underwriting, ACII/ANZIIF/ALU/LOMA qualifications, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in life and health underwriting.
• Proficient in MS Office.

In this role, you will assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies. As part of this dynamic role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the risk and exposures of potential clients.

Job Description:

• Assess medical and financial risks of applicants for life and health insurance policies
• Make decisions, within the given authority, that are consistent with underwriting standards and compatible with market trends
• Review cases with complex medical conditions and multiple risk factors
• Process a customer request end to end
• Provide support and services to Financial Consultants on matters relating to underwriting
• Face to face service interaction with the sales team at PruBusiness Centres on New Business matter
• Be involved in ad hoc projects
