Job summary

Unknown Bank (Singapore) is seeking a Software Engineer (UI) at AVP level to design, develop, and test front-end applications for wealth management and private banking. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable UI components, ensuring accessibility and UI consistency.

The role emphasizes strong React.js, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 expertise, RESTful API integration, and familiarity with DevOps/CI‑CD practices.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of front-end development experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and related UI tech;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible.
• Experience with Agile development and Git version control.
• Nice-to-have: Micro Frontends (Qiankun) and Material-UI.
• Experience with microservices and backend tech (Java, Spring Boot) or Full-Stack role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test UI applications for wealth management and private banking.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reusable components.
• Implement front-end architecture for scalability and UI consistency.
• Integrate front-end with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices; troubleshoot UI issues.
