Job summary

DMCG Global in Singapore is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own scalable backend infrastructure spanning APIs, data pipelines, and on-chain components.

You will work across the stack with TypeScript and frameworks like NestJS/Fastify/Express to support high-traffic apps, improve PostgreSQL performance, observability and production reliability.

The role offers substantial autonomy and a hands-on environment to shape system architecture in collaboration with product and protocol specialists.

Qualifications

• Production-grade backend experience.
• Experience with TypeScript-based backends and modern frameworks.
• Strong PostgreSQL design and optimization skills.
• Hands-on blockchain integrations and Web3 backend work.
• Experience with distributed systems and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate scalable APIs, backend services and distributed systems supporting high-volume customer activity.
• Build event-driven architectures, asynchronous workers, data pipelines and background processing systems.
• Develop blockchain integrations and indexing infrastructure that turns on-chain activity into reliable application data.
• Improve database performance, system resilience, observability, deployment processes and production reliability.
• Diagnose complex live-system issues and make pragmatic architectural decisions with autonomy.
