Job summary

CHUNGWOON GLOBAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Site Supervisor to lead on-site reinforced concrete works for tunnel sections including base, walls, and roof slabs. You will ensure conformance with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements on site.

The role involves coordinating complex activities, managing formwork, rebar, concrete pouring, curing, and joint treatments, while maintaining strict QA/QC measures and liaising with project stakeholders such as QPS and LTA.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supervising reinforced concrete on tunnel projects.
• Strong QA/QC and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to review drawings and shop drawings for conflicts.
• Proficient in coordinating formwork, rebar, concrete works and testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site RC works for the tunnel (base, walls, and roof slabs) per approved drawings and specs.
• Manage site operations and coordinate critical path activities.
• Oversee temporary works, formwork installation, rebar placement, concrete pouring, curing, and joint treatments.
• Create RFIs (Requests for Inspection) and implement QA/QC inspections for rebar & form works, including pre-pour checks and slump tests.
• Review shop drawings, BBS, and method statements to resolve site-fit issues proactively.
• Monitor structural alignment, dimensional control, and waterproofing to ensure zero-defect underground construction.
• Maintain smooth communication with QPS and LTA.
• Coordinate daily activities and resource allocation (labor, equipment, materials) for RC subcontractors.
• Enforce underground safety protocols, including confined space procedures and permit-to-work systems.
