Job summary

RS RECRUITMENT AGENCY LLP is seeking a seasoned civil/mechanical engineer to lead tunnelling projects in Singapore. The role focuses on coordinating day-to-day site activities and supporting senior management in planning and execution of tunneling tasks.

You will oversee construction progress, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, and guide tunnel engineers to meet schedules and quality standards. Night shifts are required during tunnelling, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in tunnelling project management.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office and CAD; strong teamwork; familiarity with compressed air systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day to day site activities with Tunnel Engineers & crew, while supporting Deputy & Tunnel Manager in planning and execution of tunneling activities.

• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Provide guidance to Tunnel Engineers & supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Shall be required to work in Night Shift during Tunnelling
