Job summary

BAH Partners is seeking a Reliability Engineer to own the production trading infrastructure in Singapore. The role offers exposure to electronic trading systems, market data, Linux and automation, and requires close collaboration with traders and exchanges.

You will manage global production systems, work with Core Engineering on architecture, and provide rapid troubleshooting in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within financial markets.
• Strong Python scripting/automation skills.
• Excellent Linux knowledge, including kernel, scheduling and performance tuning.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, VLANs and multicast.
• Experience with databases such as SQL and MongoDB.
• Strong troubleshooting skills under time pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and front-office users.

Responsibilities

• Manage production Order Management Systems and Market Data Delivery Systems connecting to major exchanges.
• Collaborate with trading teams, risk, and compliance to implement production solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide L1/L2 support for trading systems.
• Use Python and scripting to improve reliability and automation.
• Monitor health and performance of production environments and proactively identify issues.
• Work with Core Engineering on architecture and development of production and support infrastructure.
• Act as primary technical contact for exchanges and brokers.
• Participate in after-hours coverage for critical systems.
