Job summary

Citi in Singapore seeks a Senior Trader to oversee a trading book, drive revenues, and manage risk in coordination with the Trading team. The role requires deep product knowledge, strong relationships with clients, and close collaboration with Sales, Research, and Risk functions.

You will lead governance and controls, ensure compliance with policy, and mentor junior traders while delivering on budgeted revenues and maintaining book integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven history of trading book management and revenue delivery.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; ability to quantify risk and P&L impact.
• Licensing/registrations as applicable to trading roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a trading book as a Senior trader and generate revenues and manage risk for the respective business.
• Build and maintain a franchise and connect with key clients.
• Coordinate with Sales, Research, CMand and other organizations across Markets and Securities Services and the broader business.
• Trade a book and deliver on budgeted revenues and manage book risk.
• Establish and maintain key relationships to deliver trades to the desk.
• Anticipate client demand and facilitate large client trades.
• Coordinate with desk analysts and sales to develop the franchise and mentor junior traders.
• Lead governance and controls with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Finance.
• Build a culture of responsible finance, governance, and ethics.
• Assess risk/reward of transactions with attention to firm reputation and regulatory obligations.
