Job summary

Siemens Mobility Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design activities for electrification projects, with a focus on traction power systems for MRT projects. You will coordinate with offshore teams, prepare schematics and specifications, and support tender bids.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of eight years of local MRT electrification experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and strong foundation in traction power systems.
• Minimum 8 years experience in electrification projects for MRT projects.
• Good experience in AC & DC Electrification systems including Control and Protections.
• Experience handling medium to high complexity of solution projects.
• Knowledge of local transportation operators and regulatory requirements.
• Adaptable to different working environments and customer terms.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of electrical packages for traction power systems (66KV,22KV,750VDC,1500V DC).
• Prepare and review schematic drawings, technical specifications, GA and SLD.
• Coordinate with Siemens offshore team for on-time submissions.
• Support design and project teams with inputs; develop conceptual engineering and value engineering.
• Provide system engineering support for tenders/bids.
• Coordinate with customers and interface partners.
