Job summary

NOR OFFSHORE RENTAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Tooling Mechanic to operate, inspect, maintain, repair, and refurbish ROV tooling and offshore decommissioning equipment to ensure readiness and compliance.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, with offshore travel as needed to support mobilisations and field operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of ROV tooling and offshore decommissioning equipment.
• Proven experience servicing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems used in subsea and offshore operations.
• Experience with equipment such as hydraulic cutters, diamond wire saws, dredging systems, lifting equipment, hydraulic power units (HPUs), and other subsea intervention tools is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Willingness to travel offshore and support vessel-based operations when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on ROV tooling, hydraulic systems, and offshore decommissioning equipment.
• Inspect, test, assemble, and prepare equipment for mobilisation and offshore operations.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and carry out repairs in accordance with OEM specifications and company procedures.
• Maintain equipment service records, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) requirements.
• Support offshore operations, mobilisation, demobilisation, and field service activities as required.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.
