Job summary

Seagate International Headquarters Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced hardware engineer to design and develop custom test hardware for electronics assemblies. You will work on new test hardware designs and upgrades to meet strict product specifications, and devise architectures using standard components.

You will collaborate with software and design teams, supporting junior members and ensuring efficient test coverage across Seagate products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in electronics design.
• Experience with high-speed analog/digital circuits and RF components.
• Proficiency in FPGA design and related toolchains.
• Strong schematics and PCB design skills with Mentor Xpedition.
• Experience with C/C++, NI systems and LabVIEW is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom test hardware solutions using standard components.
• Work on new test hardware designs and upgrades to meet specs.
• Devise architectures using available components to meet requirements.
• Create hardware patches for product failure modes.
• Collaborate with software engineers for new hardware requirements.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and peers.
• Collaborate with Design, Firmware, QA and Supplier Quality teams for efficiency.
