Job summary

VOCALBEATS.AI PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA lead to plan, develop, and execute testing strategies for AI-powered applications used by millions worldwide. You will design test plans, implement automated frameworks across web, mobile, and AI features.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and AI engineers to identify issues early, improve quality, and drive CI/CD practice. You will own product quality and help build scalable testing environments for rapid releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Proven experience in software testing with end-to-end QA responsibilities.
• Hands-on testing of web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and execution of testing strategies for AI-powered applications.

What will your role be:

• Lead the planning, development, and execution of testing strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of AI-powered applications used by millions of users worldwide.




• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated testing frameworks across web, mobile, and AI-driven product features.




• Conduct functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing to ensure product stability and a seamless user experience.




• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and AI engineers to identify potential issues early and improve overall product quality.




• Evaluate AI-powered features for response accuracy, consistency, reliability, and usability, identifying potential risks and areas for improvement.




• Investigate complex software defects, analyse root causes, and work with engineering teams to implement effective solutions.




• Drive improvements in testing processes, automation coverage, and quality standards to support rapid product development and release cycles.




• Take ownership of product quality and contribute to building a scalable, efficient, and reliable testing environment.

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.




• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and the software development lifecycle.




• Proven experience in software testing, with the ability to independently develop testing strategies and manage end-to-end quality assurance processes.




• Hands‑on experience with both manual and automated testing of web or mobile applications.




• Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Pytest.




• Strong programming or scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language, with experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts.




• Experience with API testing, CI/CD workflows, version control, and bug‑tracking tools.




• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to identify complex issues and potential risks.




• A proactive, ownership‑driven mindset with the ability to independently solve problems and continuously improve testing processes.




• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across product, development, and AI engineering teams.
