Job summary

Toll Group is seeking an experienced Crane Operator in Singapore to support marine, offshore or port operations. You will manage crane deployment, conduct pre-operation checks, and work closely with lifting teams and clients to ensure safe, efficient lifting activities.

The role requires a Class 5 driving permit with crane certification and a minimum of 5 years’ crane operation experience. Flexibility for irregular hours and knowledge of European crane makes are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Process Class 5 driving permit including a valid crane operating licence/certification.
• Relevant experience in marine, offshore or port operations preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in crane operation.
• Experience/Qualified as Lifting Supervisor is an advantage.
• Able to work irregular (outside) hours is an advantage.
• Able to enhance general survey for developing lifting operation/handling would be an advantage.
• Able to work in team spirit with commitment and inclusiveness for operation executing.
• Experience operating mid-range telescopic crane (e.g. 200 ton or above) would be an advantage.
• Experience operating cranes from European makes would be an added advantage.
• Mandatory compliance to HSE policies with safe practice & behaviour incl. governess regulations by authorities.

Responsibilities

• Allocate and drive truck/all-terrain mobile crane between points.
• Set up truck crane to operational readiness.
• Operate telescopic cranes.
• Perform pre-operation checks on lifting cranes, gears, and commodities.
• Review and comply with safe work procedures for lifting plans.
• Develop close coordination with lifting team and clients.
• Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions or incidents promptly.
• Maintain and update crane log sheets.
• Assist and establish general maintenance on cranes, gears, tools, etc.
