Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer to design and coordinate Civil/Structural BIM models for Singapore projects. You will develop general arrangement plans, schedules and quantity schedules using BIM tools, while supporting C&S teams locally and overseas.

The role requires 5+ years in civil engineering with sewer, drainage and road experience, strong proficiency in Archicad, Revit and AutoCAD, and familiarity with Dynamo/Grasshopper/Navisworks/Solibri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of Civil engineering experience in sewer, drainage and road.
• 5+ years of experience with Archicad, Revit and AutoCAD; Archicad preferred.
• Knowledge of Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks or Solibri is a plus.
• Ability to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong communication with local and overseas clients.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce BIM models including preparation of general arrangement plans and schedules.
2. Provide BIM and drafting support to Singapore C&S team.
3. Produce sewer, drainage and traffic plan. Provide reinforce concrete detailing (Box culvert and Box drain)
4. Produce quantity schedules using BIM.
5. Collaborate and coordinate with CS, AR and MEP both within local and overseas teams.
6. Provide BIM Modelling and coordination work

Requirements

1. Civil Engineering graduate.
2. Proficient in structural detailing and modelling:

• At least 5 years experience in Civil engineering with experience in sewer, drainage and road.
• At least 5 years experience in Archicad, Revit and AutoCAD. Archicad experience is preferred. Knowledge in Dynamo, Grasshopper, Navisworks, Solibri is a plus.

1. Passionate about Structural 3D modelling and 2D detailing to deliver with high quality.
2. Able to interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
3. Proficient in Office applications especially Excel.
4. Able to communicate to local and overseas clients.
5. With good work ethics and management skills and ability to adapt in tight deadlines.
6. Experience in BIM model federation, coordination and clash detections.
