Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Data Platform Lead to steer the design, development, and deployment of enterprise data, analytics, and AI/ML platforms for the banking domain.

You will architect scalable data solutions using Data Lakehouse and mesh paradigms, and drive data products and AI/ML use cases end-to-end. The role requires 8+ years in data delivery within finance, strong Python/Spark/Java, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, and technology delivery, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong experience with Data Lakehouse platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Cloudera, Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
• Hands-on BI and analytics tools including Power BI, SAS Viya, Teradata, Qlik, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark, Scala, Java, AI/ML frameworks, and data engineering technologies.
• Experience with Kafka, Informatica, Talend, SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud-native technologies.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Airflow, CI/CD, DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices.
• Understanding of banking data models, data governance, risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and delivering large-scale enterprise data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data, analytics, and AI/ML platforms within the banking domain.
• Architect and deliver scalable data solutions using Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and cloud-native technologies.
• Develop and operationalize data products, analytics applications, and AI/ML use cases such as fraud detection, customer analytics, and risk modeling.
• Design and manage data pipelines, APIs, data integration, and reporting platforms.
• Establish DataOps, MLOps, security, governance, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, data scientists, and application teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, analysts, and testing teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Manage technical delivery, project risks, dependencies, production implementation, and post-deployment support.
