Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a Senior Team Manager, International Banking in Singapore to lead client acquisition, manage HNW relationships, and drive sales targets across international client segments. The role requires strong governance and collaboration with regional stakeholders to uphold regulatory and service standards.

The ideal candidate will have finance-related studies, RNF and CMFAS credentials, and a proven track record in managing cross-border banking relationships with a keen

Qualifications

• Finance-related studies in financial planning, portfolio reviews, and asset allocations.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategies to achieve sales targets and grow new business opportunities.
• Manage and deepen relationships with international clients, particularly in the Greater China region.
• Ensure compliance with MAS and regulatory requirements across the team.
• Collaborate with RMs, third-party referral channels, and Operations to optimize service delivery.
• Lead the Singapore CPBB International Banking Team to deliver quality outcomes.

Senior Team Manager, International Banking

Manage the team to maximize new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships, while providing quality in service delivery in an efficient operation where risks are well controlled. Also ensure that robust sales process, stringent service standards in compliance with local regulatory requirements are met by the team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
• Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and sales model appropriate to the RM role.
Business
• Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates
Processes
• Responsible for executing sales targets.
People & Talent
• Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders such as SCB China RMs, 3rd party referral channels and Operations Team.
Risk Management
• The ability to stay compliance to the regulated role govern by MAS

Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead the Singapore CPBB International Banking Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalation, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
