Job summary

NOVACLOUD SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced systems engineer to design, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Appian, with strong SQL/PLSQL and Java/J2EE expertise.

You will manage deployments across environments, troubleshoot defects, provide production support, and coordinate integrations with external systems. The role requires 15+ years in related technical fields, hands-on Appian experience, and proficiency in Linux/RHEL, JBoss/Apache, APIs, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, enterprise application development, application support or related technical roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Appian application development, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience in SQL/PL/SQL, including query development, optimisation and database programming.
• Hands-on experience in Linux/RHEL operating systems and enterprise application environments.
• Experience in managing application deployments and release activities across multiple environments.
• Experience in troubleshoot application issues, analyse root causes and resolve software defects.
• Experience in providing application support and production support, including incident investigation and resolution.
• Experience in JBoss and Apache application-server.
• Experience developing or maintaining Java/J2EE components and integrating applications through APIs or other interfaces.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities
