Job summary

Venture Corporation Limited in Singapore is seeking a Senior System Analyst, IT (SAP System) to provide SAP MM/PP expertise and oversee day-to-day ERP operations for the Venture group.

You will drive system governance, gather user requirements, design improvements, and deliver SAP projects on time while ensuring integration with other applications. Travel to regional subsidiaries may be required; you will mentor junior analysts and contribute to audit compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years hands-on functional experience in SAP MM/PP; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP MM/PP modules and SCM processes.
• Experience with SAP master data, Tables, Configuration, User Exits & BAPI.
• Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Management, BOM, Routing, Work Order, and MRP.
• Interfaces with external systems using IDOC, XML, and Flat File.
• Analytical, meticulous, and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Able to communicate with all levels and lead projects; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT professional service to Venture group companies and support day-to-day SAP ERP operations.
• Deliver SAP projects/enhancements on time.
• Govern system & process; validate as-is vs to-be; assess workarounds and effort.
• Gather business requirements, design solutions, and ensure integration with other applications.
• Manage deliverable documents (blueprints, diagrams, specs, configurations, processes, training).
• Validate test scripts and coordinate with users.
• Manage SAP support tickets and ensure SLA delivery.
• Lead or support upgrades and new projects across regional subsidiaries.
• Proactively propose system & process improvements.

We're looking to add a Senior System Analyst, IT (SAP System) in Singapore . The position is based in our HQ at Ang Mo Kio .

As a Senior System Analyst, IT (SAP System) , you will:

• Provide IT professional service to Venture group companies and Support day-to-day SAP ERP operations. Responsible for system governance, getting user's requirements, system/design improvement, system development, and audit compliance.
• Provide SAP functional core expertise in MM/PP module. QM knowledge is an advantage
• Responsible to deliver any SAP project/enhancement on time
• Responsible for System & Process governance include Validates as-is VS to-be process flows and system integration from the user perspective, identifies potential workarounds for system changes or limitations, assesses level of effort required to successfully implement changes to business processes and user activities.
• Responsible for business requirement gathering, system design and providing solution to fulfil business requirement, and ensuring integration with other applications.
• Manage Deliverable documents (business blueprint, business flow diagram, functional specification, configuration, business process procedure and training documents to detail the business requirements)
• Responsible in validating test script and user coordination.
• Manage SAP Support ticket and ensure ticket closure & deliverable within agreed SLA
• Lead, facilitate or support system upgrading projects or new projects that introduce to regional subsidiaries
• Proactively propose system & process improvement

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years hands-on functional experience in configuration, implementation and support of SAP MM/PP modules, preferably in Manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP MM/PP modules and SCM Business processes.
• Well Versed with MM/PP module Masters, Tables, Configuration, User Exits & BAPI.
• Good Knowledge in Purchasing, Inventory Management, BOM, Routing, Work Order, and MRP.
• Good understanding in the interfaces with external systems using IDOC, XML and Flat File.
• Analytical, meticulous and have good sense in business process & troubleshooting.
• Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization.
• Able to work independently and lead in projects.
• Willing to travel to support subsidiaries in regional countries if required.
• SAP MM/PP experienced & manufacturing SCM exposure is a must.
