Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) in Singapore seeks a Syndication Loan Operations specialist to provide and maintain an operating framework for syndication loan agency support to lending units. You will oversee daily administration, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements across the department.

You will coordinate with business units, borrowers, and finance parties to deliver timely service within SLA, review loan agreements, and support syndication deals as Facility/

Qualifications

• Experience in syndication loan operations and agency support.
• Ability to monitor covenants and manage loan documentation and processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting loan administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain cordial relationships between business units, borrowers and finance parties.
• Support syndication/club deals where the bank acts as Facility Agent or Security Agent.
• Monitor Financial Covenants and Project covenants for compliance.
• Process day-to-day syndication loan administration tasks (drawdown, rollover, rate fixing, billing, repayment).
• Review Syndication Loan Agreements, Agency Agreements, Security & Finance Documents for feasibility and compliance.
• Coordinate with Syndicate Legal Counsel on disbursement and related instructions.
• Provide guidance and training within the department.
