Job summary

Altus Steel Tech (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an engineer to assist in planning and executing mechanical building services projects. You will prepare tender documents, draft designs and technical specs, and supervise installation and commissioning of mechanical works.

You will liaise with end users and vendors for project coordination, provide onsite support, monitor progress, read drawings, deploy manpower, and assist safety and management teams with strong analytical thinking.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience coordinating projects and schedules.
• Willingness to deploy manpower and monitor timings.
• On-site support and safety coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Involve in planning and execution of mechanical engineering and construction works for building services.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, design and technical specifications for tenders, and supervise installation and commissioning.
• Liaise with end users and vendors for project coordination.
• Provide onsite support when required to assess project requirements.
• Monitor progress to determine project schedule and resolve site problems.
• Read and draw technical drawings.
• Handle petty cash and deploy manpower to the site, recording timings.

Job description

• To involve in the planning and execution of mechanical engineering and construction works for building services.
• To assist in prepare tender documents, design and technical specifications for tenders, as well as supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical works.
• Able to liaise both end user customers and vendor and supplier for project coordination.
• Onsite support upon customer request if necessary to have first-hand look for project requirement.
• Determines project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving site problems
