Job summary

Building and Construction Authority (BCA) invites applications from resourceful engineers to regulate safety of building structures in Singapore. You will review submissions by engineers, liaise with builders and owners, and contribute to broader building control initiatives.

The role requires a degree in civil/structural engineering, PE registration (or in preparation), and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/structural engineering.
• PE registration with the Professional Engineers Board (or preparing for registration).
• At least 5 years of relevant design and site experience.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Regulate safety of existing building structures and slopes.
• Review engineering submissions by professional engineers.
• Liaise with builders and building owners to ensure safety of structures.
• Work on other aspects of building control as needed.
