Job summary

DARA PEOPLE LTD. Singapore is seeking a Structural Technical Lead for data centre projects, overseeing structural design and assurance across buildings, substations, and campus infrastructure.

You will review designs, guide consultants, manage risk, and ensure constructability, resilience and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments is preferred; knowledge of BIM360/ACC is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Senior structural engineer with experience on complex building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to challenge designs and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience reviewing and assuring designs produced by consultants/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Review structural designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, BIM models and reports.
• Provide assurance across concrete, steel, foundations, slabs, frames and equipment supports.
• Assess loads, vibration, seismic requirements and interfaces with specialist systems.
• Lead coordination with architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Identify design clashes, constructability issues and technical risks before impact on programme or cost.
• Challenge consultants and contractors and provide clear technical direction during reviews.
• Drive design optimisation around material efficiency, buildability, resilience, sustainability and operation.
• Support site observations, defect resolution, punch-list close-out and final inspections.
• Maintain risk, action and issue trackers and report critical items to leadership.
• Contribute to improvements in owner standards, specifications and technical guidance.
