Job summary

SBM Offshore is seeking a Construction Structural Superintendent to oversee construction and commissioning activities for the Structural discipline at the project site. You will coordinate daily site operations, manage workforce, materials and equipment, and ensure alignment with project plans and HSSE requirements.

You will lead inspections, monitor progress, and implement changes as needed while mentoring site teams and maintaining thorough records to support safety and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in the construction industry with leadership of teams to ensure smooth operations on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction and commissioning activities of the Structural discipline according to plans, specifications and schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise daily site operations, including workforce management, material handling, and equipment usage.
• Monitor progress against project timeline and take corrective actions to maintain schedule.
• Enforce HSSE protocols and ensure compliance with HSSE regulations and standards.
• Lead site inspections, tests, and verifications of the discipline's scope.
• Manage changes to plans or scope during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain records of discipline activities, progress reports, HSSE records and quality data.
• Mentor construction supervisors and team members to uphold high standards.
