Job summary

Wise is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) to join the Platform Issuance team in Singapore. You’ll drive features that help partners onboarding, liquidity optimization, fraud prevention, and card analytics, delivering scalable microservices and well-documented APIs.

In an autonomous, cross-functional setup, you’ll collaborate with PMs, Analysts, and Engineers to decide what we build, ensuring reliability, security, and end-to-end ownership across the product’s lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building microservices, event-driven architectures, relational databases, and well-designed APIs.
• Design and build resilient and scalable systems.
• Maintainable and well-tested software, predictable delivery, observability, and debt management.
• Product mindset focused on customer outcomes and API usability.
• End-to-end ownership from problem to rollout and roadmap planning.
• Accountable for availability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Drive features for onboarding, liquidity, fraud prevention, and analytics for Cards API.

• Ensure APIs are simple to consume and well documented.
