Job summary

IHH Healthcare Singapore, based at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, seeks a Nurse to oversee and maintain an effective Infection Control program. You will coordinate IC activities with Management, Medical Staff, and the Ministry of Health, review infection records, and implement preventive measures.

The role requires proactive communication and reporting to committees. Diploma or degree in Nursing with SB registration preferred and at least 4 years in infection control.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Nursing is required.
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board preferred.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in infection control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Infection Control program is effectively implemented across the hospital.
• Act as a resource between Management, Medical Staff and Ministry of Health for IC activities.
• Review and analyze records of healthcare–associated infections, report findings, and implement corrective/preventive measures.
• Provide updates and reports on IC matters to the relevant Committee and Management.

Job description

Based in Mount Elizabeth Hospital (Orchard), the Nurse will assist to oversee, monitor, evaluate and maintain an effective Infection Control program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the hospital Infection Control (IC) program is effectively implemented.
• Act as a key resource person between Management, Medical Staff and Ministry of Health for IC activities.
• Review and confirm records of healthcare–associated infections through analysis of trends and report findings, and implement corrective/preventive measures accordingly.
• Provide updates and reports on IC matters to the relevant Committee, Ministry of Health, Management and as directed.
• Ensure that all IC practices meet accreditation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Nursing
• Registered with Singapore Nursing Board preferred
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in infection control
• Completed the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) or other recognized course in Infection Control
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
