Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Singapore is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide life-sustaining dialysis treatment and compassionate patient support. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress, educate patients, and ensure safe, high-quality care in a clinical setting.

Requirements include a Nursing diploma/degree, SNB registration, at least 1 year of Singapore RN experience, BCLS, and dialysis training if available.

Qualifications

• Nurse must hold a Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) is required.
• Minimum 1 year as a Registered Nurse in Singapore is required.
• Advanced training in hemodialysis is a plus; renal nursing experience preferred.
• Certified and valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care in hemodialysis.
• Performs assessments before, during, and after dialysis to evaluate care effectiveness.
• Educates patients on diet, fluids, medications, and blood pressure to improve outcomes.
• Monitors water treatment system and dialysis fluids for safety and quality.
• Maintains accurate patient information in TDMS/EuClid and ensures confidentiality.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives by reporting incidents and hazards.

As aStaffNurse,you’lldeliver life-sustaining care to patients with chronic kidney disease.You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, provide dialysis treatments,monitorpatient progress, and offer compassionate support that makes a real difference every single day.

You will:

• Participates in the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care within the hemodialysisclinical setting:
• Undertakes clinical/patient assessments pre, during and post dialysis treatment to evaluateeffectiveness of care
• Adheres to all FMC Policies and Work Instructions related to clinical and operationmanagement
• Reviews blood test results and report to Medical Director of any abnormalities
• Educates patients on their diet, fluid, medications and blood pressure management tooptimise their clinical outcomes
• Motivates and encourages patient’s adjustment to CHD
• Monitors the water treatment system and fluid for dialysis to ensure provision of safe,quality dialysis therapies
• Establish an effective relationship with patients and maintain good communication withpatients and relatives; and give adequate support.
• Ensures/promotes a safe, secure and healthy working environment to staff and acomfortable, safe environment for visitors and patients as detailed in the IPC andenvironment policies
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe and in good working condition; and report defectsthrough appropriate channels.
• Maintains accurate patient information in medical records, including Therapy DataManagement System (TDMS)/EuClid Clinical Information system and abides by confidentialityand Privacy Policy.
• Protects the rights of patients by adhering to Privacy Principles and providing an excellentstandard of care
• Actively participates in the quality improvement process by reporting all incidents, hazardsand opportunities for improvement
