Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Singapore seeks an experienced Staff Nurse to deliver life-sustaining dialysis care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, monitor patients, and educate them on treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

Role requires nursing qualifications, SNB registration, and at least 1 year of RN experience in Singapore. BCLS certification is mandatory, and advanced hemodialysis training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in nursing is required.
• Registration with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) is mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Singapore.
• Advanced training in hemodialysis is a plus; renal nurse experience is preferred.
• Certified and valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dialysis treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients on diet, fluids, medications, and blood pressure management.
• Maintain accurate patient information in TDMS/EuClid and ensure confidentiality.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well‑equipped dialysis environment for staff and patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, deliver and evaluate care.
• Monitor water treatment and dialysis fluid quality to ensure safe therapy.

Whatyou’llachieve

As aStaffNurse,you’ll deliver life-sustaining care to patients with chronic kidney disease.You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, provide dialysis treatments, monitorpatient progress, and offer compassionate support that makes a real difference every single day.

You will:

• Participates in the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care within the hemodialysisclinical setting:
  • Undertakes clinical/patient assessments pre, during and post dialysis treatment to evaluateeffectiveness of care
  • Adheres to all FMC Policies and Work Instructions related to clinical and operationmanagement
  • Reviews blood test results and report to Medical Director of any abnormalities
  • Educates patients on their diet, fluid, medications and blood pressure management tooptimise their clinical outcomes
  • Motivates and encourages patient’s adjustment to CHD
  • Monitors the water treatment system and fluid for dialysis to ensure provision of safe,quality dialysis therapies
• Establish an effective relationship with patients and maintain good communication with patients and relatives; and give adequate support.
• Ensures/promotes a safe, secure and healthy working environment to staff and acomfortable, safe environment for visitors and patients as detailed in the IPC andenvironment policies
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe and in good working condition; and report defectsthrough appropriate channels.
• Maintains accurate patient information in medical records, including Therapy DataManagement System (TDMS)/EuClid Clinical Information system and abides by confidentialityand Privacy Policy.
• Protects the rights of patients by adhering to Privacy Principles and providing an excellentstandard of care
• Actively participates in the quality improvement process by reporting all incidents, hazardsand opportunities for improvement
