Job summary

Singapore Red Cross Society seeks an experienced nurse lead to oversee clinical care in the Home for the Disabled. You will assess residents, plan care, supervise nursing aides, and ensure medication administration and infection control comply with SOPs.

You will coordinate with doctors, social workers and partners to deliver holistic resident care, manage emergencies, and maintain high standards of patient safety and welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience in holistic assessment and care planning.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and aides.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Proficiency in infection control and safe patient handling.
• Experience in nursing documentation and medical administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and develop care plans for residents.
• Supervise staff and ensure quality caregiving and SOP compliance.
• Assist doctors during rounds and transcribe orders accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor medical records for accuracy.
• Coordinate with social workers and health professionals for resident care.
• Maintain safe work practices and participate in emergency drills.
