Unchain Data is looking for a Data Engineer to join our data team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will build and maintain the data warehouse for risk control, and will have a strong understanding of data warehouse modeling and architecture.

About the team:

OKX data team is responsible for the whole data scope of OKG, from technical selection, architecture design, data ingestion, data storage, ETL, data visualization to business intelligence and data science. We are data engineers, data analysts and data scientists. The team has end-to-end ownership of most of the data at OKX throughout the whole data lifecycle including data ingestion, data ETL, data warehouse and data services. As a data engineer of the team, you will work with the team to leverage data technologies to empower evidence-based decision-making and improve the quality of the company's products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the data warehouse for the risk control business domain, and develop the thematic metrics/indicator system to support data needs across all risk control business lines.
• Design and implement the technical architecture for offline and real-time data application services, and optimize the performance of data pipelines.
• Develop reporting data and interface (API) data for the data mart.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related field, with 4+ years of industry experience.
2. Solid understanding of data warehouse modeling theory, with hands‑on experience in data warehouse model design, in-depth knowledge of data warehouse architecture, and a track record of supporting real‑world business scenarios.
3. Familiarity with a range of big data architectures, especially Alibaba Cloud DataWorks/MaxCompute and AWS, as well as Spark, Databricks, and StarRocks/Doris (a plus).
4. Strong communicator with business acumen and the ability to perform under pressure; able to quickly grasp business context and effectively bridge technical and business needs.
5. R&D experience with big data real‑time systems and real‑time data warehouses (a plus).
6. Experience building data middle‑platform capabilities such as user profiling, risk control systems, and metrics systems is preferred.
