Job summary

MOTIONAL SINGAPORE PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SRE Focus) to empower internal developer platforms and boost engineering productivity. You will build scalable systems, CI/CD tooling, and platform services that power Motional’s workflows.

With 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, you will bring strong Python/Go/C++ skills and hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD experience to optimize reliability, performance, and cloud spend across AWS/GCP.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
5+ years in SRE/DevOps related roles.
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong programming background (Python, Go, C++).
Ability to translate ambiguous goals into software requirements.

Responsibilities

Build scalable backend services, CI/CD pipelines, build systems, toolchains and platforms for developer workflows.
Improve reliability, performance, scalability, and observability of distributed systems.
Collaborate with teams to optimize AWS/GCP spend and implement cost-saving strategies.
Monitor performance and health and resolve issues proactively.
Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
