FUTURE FIELDS PTE LTD seeks an experienced SAP finance specialist to own SAP FI/CO, SD, and MM modules across Record-to-Report, O2C and P2P processes. You will drive automation, data integrity and governance, delivering scalable and auditable solutions that support FP&A with automated reporting.
You will lead configuration, month-end close optimization, IFRS alignment and cross‑functional collaboration with IT, Sales and Supply Chain.
This role owns and optimises SAP across the finance, sales (order-to-cash) and inventory (procure-to-pay and stock) processes, ensuring data flows accurately from transaction to ledger to report. It also leads the finance automation roadmap, replacing manual, spreadsheet-driven work with scalable, controlled and auditable solutions. Acting as the bridge between Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and IT, the role translates business needs into system and process improvements, while supporting FP&A with reliable, automated data and reporting.
Act as finance business owner for SAP (S/4HANA / ECC): GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost and Profit Centre Accounting.
Manage configuration changes, period-end close settings, account determination and master data governance.
Streamline month-end close, intercompany, accruals and reconciliations; shorten the close cycle.
Review and improve the end-to-end O2C flow: pricing conditions, sales orders, billing, revenue posting and collections.
Ensure correct revenue recognition and SD–FI integration in line with IFRS 15 / SFRS(I) 15.
Automate customer billing checks, credit control, AR ageing, dunning and cash application.
Build sales and margin reporting by customer, product and channel.
Oversee inventory valuation, movement types, GR/IR clearing and material master accuracy.
Ensure costing and valuation comply with IAS 2 / SFRS(I) 1-2 (standard vs moving average, NRV, provisions for slow-moving and obsolete stock).
Automate stock reconciliations (SAP vs physical / WMS), cycle-count variance analysis and inventory ageing reports.
Improve the P2P cycle: PO controls, three‑way match, vendor master governance and payment runs.
Identify, prioritise and deliver automation across R2R, O2C and P2P, each with a clear business case (hours saved, error reduction, faster close).
Use tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Fiori apps, RPA (UiPath / Power Automate), Power BI, Power Query, SQL or Python.
Design system interfaces and data integrations (e.g. e-commerce, POS, banking, WMS) with IT and partners.
Document processes, controls and runbooks so every automation is sustainable and audit‑ready.
Lead SAP projects (upgrades, new entities, module rollouts): requirements, design, UAT, cutover and hypercare.
Maintain internal controls including segregation of duties, user access reviews and change management.
Provide second-line support and training to finance and business users; support internal and external audits.
Provide automated data feeds and dashboards for budget, forecast and monthly management reporting.
Support variance analysis and ad-hoc financial modelling as required.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
5–8 years of experience in finance systems, process improvement or SAP functional roles (industry, Big 4 or consulting).
Strong hands‑on SAP experience in FI/CO, with solid working knowledge of SD and MM integration.
Proven track record of delivering finance, sales or inventory process automation with measurable results.
Good understanding of IFRS / SFRS(I), especially revenue (IFRS 15) and inventory (IAS 2).
Advanced Excel and strong data analysis skills.
Professional qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA; SAP certification is a plus.
Experience with S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.
Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python or RPA tools.
Exposure to retail, FMCG, manufacturing or distribution environments with high transaction volumes.
Process mindset: sees end-to-end flows across finance, sales and supply chain, not just individual tasks.
Analytical rigour: comfortable with large datasets; finds root causes of reconciliation and data issues.
Business partnering: explains technical and financial detail clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Ownership and drive: self-starter who delivers improvements end to end.
Change leadership: brings users along through training, documentation and clear communication.
Competitive remuneration and performance bonus.
High-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership.
Opportunity to shape the finance transformation agenda.
Learning and certification support (SAP, data analytics, professional bodies)
