Job summary

The Spatial Biology Core is a core facility within the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore at the National University of Singapore. It provides end-to-end solutions for tissue-based research through access to advanced platforms, expert consultation and specialised services that support the research needs of CSI Singapore and the wider NUS ecosystem.

We are seeking a meticulous, service-oriented and technically capable Senior/Laboratory Executive to support day-to-day operations of the spatial

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline.
Experience in immunology, molecular biology or cancer biology relevant to spatial biology.
Familiarity with histology workflows (FFPE block prep and tissue sectioning).
Experience with spatial biology platforms (Bruker DSP, PhenoCycler/PhenoImager, Visium/Xenium) is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in image analysis software (inForm, QuPath, Visiopharm) and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Operate spatial transcriptomics and imaging platforms (DSP, nCounter) for service delivery.
Assist with PhenoCycler and multi-plex IHC and image analysis as needed.
Collaborate with Facility Manager to optimise workflows and adopt new platforms.
Prepare, update and maintain technical documentation, protocols and SOPs.
Provide user training and technical support; assist with troubleshooting and quality control.
Maintain records of services, equipment usage and documentation.
