Job summary

Keenfinity Group in Singapore is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to lead regional technical design for APAC, focusing on advanced system design, acoustic modeling, and customer consultation. You will collaborate with consultants, system integrators, distributors and sales teams to apply Electro-Voice and Dynacord solutions.

You will mentor regional Solutions Engineers, drive best practices, and serve as the primary technical escalation point while supporting regional projects and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in professional audio and AV engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and specifying complex audio systems.
• Strong understanding of acoustics, loudspeaker systems, DSP platforms, networking concepts, and audio transport technologies.
• Experience supporting consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.

Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Solutions Engineer serves as the technical leader for a designated geographic region, providing advanced system design support, acoustic modeling, customer consultation, and technical leadership. This role works closely with consultants, system integrators, distributors, end users, and internal sales teams to ensure successful application of Electro-Voice and Dynacord solutions.

In addition to individual project responsibilities, the Senior Solutions Engineer provides day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, and coordination for Solutions Engineers within the region. The role helps establish technical best practices, ensures consistent customer support, and acts as a key voice between customers, sales teams, product management, and engineering.

Regional Responsibility

This position is based in Singapore and serves as the regional technical lead for Asia Pacific. The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for managing and developing the Solutions Engineering resources located in China and India while personally providing solutions engineering support throughout the remainder of the Asia Pacific region. This includes supporting consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users; coordinating regional project activities; ensuring consistent technical engagement; and serving as the primary escalation point for complex system design and application challenges. Travel throughout the region is expected as required to support customers, partners, training initiatives, and strategic business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Solutions Engineering

• Develop system designs and recommendations for professional audio projects.
• Create acoustic simulation models and performance predictions using tools such as EASE and related software.

• Support consultants, integrators, distributors, and end users with system design and product application guidance.

Regional Leadership

• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to Solutions Engineers throughout the region.
• Coordinate workload, project assignments, and regional priorities among the Solutions Engineering team.
• Encourage consistent engineering practices, documentation standards, and customer engagement approaches.
• Assist with onboarding, development, and performance coaching of regional team members.
• Escalate resource needs, market trends, and customer feedback to the Global Director.

Customer Enablement

• Deliver product, software, and system design training to customers, consultants, distributors, and system integrators.
• Support certification and competency development programs.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer workshops.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Training, and Technical Support teams.
• Provide market feedback regarding customer needs, competitive activity, and product opportunities.
• Contribute to technical documentation, application guides, and knowledge base content.
• Assist with new product introductions by supporting training, demonstrations, and early customer deployments.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Technology, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in professional audio and AV engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and specifying complex audio systems.
• Strong understanding of acoustics, loudspeaker systems, DSP platforms, networking concepts, and audio transport technologies.
• Experience supporting consultants, system integrators, distributors, and end users.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to travel internationally as required.

Preferred

• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical engineering resources.
• Experience using EASE, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or related design tools.
• Industry certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Dante Certification, EASE, networking certifications, or equivalent.
• Experience with enterprise, commercial, hospitality, transportation, education, worship, or stadium applications.
• Proficiency in English is required. Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferred to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders in China.
