Job summary

Resaro is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect (Computer Vision & Embodied AI) to drive pre-sales and scoping for CV and robotics testing engagements.

You will define technical specifications, design architectures, and ensure smooth transitions from scoping to engineering across on-site teams and client sites. You will lead workshops, translate customer needs into test strategies, and shape the roadmap with hands-on experience in what is feasible.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of solution architecture, ML/AI engineering, or technical consulting with customer-facing scoping experience.
• Technical depth across computer vision and embodied AI/robotics/autonomy (perception stacks, ROS, simulation, sensor data).
• Experience designing solutions for enterprise and government customers.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills: comfortable in executive-level conversations.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into customer business value.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales across computer vision and embodied AI/autonomy engagements: workshops, demos, solution-design sessions.
• Scope customer requirements (CV model assurance, UGV/robotics autonomy V&V) and translate them into formal technical specifications and test strategies.
• Design solution architectures that map customer needs to platform capabilities across vision, generative, and autonomous-testing.
• Act as the feasibility anchor for both proposed solutions and internal roadmap; guide the team on what to build and how to prioritise.
• Push back when a request lacks value or is impractical, steering to workable alternatives.
• Advise customers on evaluation methodology: ODD specification, scenario design, simulation-based and real-world V&V, sensor-data analysis, performance, robustness, safety testing.
• Work with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handover from scoping to deployment.
• Maintain ongoing technical relationships with government and defence accounts.
• Contribute to proposal writing, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
• Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform the product roadmap, especially in autonomy and robotics testing.

The Role

We're looking for a Sr. Solution Architect (Computer Vision & Embodied AI) to lead technical pre‑sales and solution scoping across our computer vision and embodied AI work. You'll be the first technical point of contact for customers: understanding their needs, designing test and assurance solutions that map to our platform, and ensuring a smooth handover from scoping to engineering. This role spans both established CV assurance engagements and a growing pipeline of robotics and autonomy testing programmes.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical pre‑sales across computer vision and embodied AI / autonomy engagements: workshops, demos, solution-design sessions.
• Scope customer requirements (CV model assurance, UGV / robotics autonomy V&V) and translate them into formal technical specifications and test strategies.
• Design solution architectures that map customer needs to AIP capabilities across vision, generative, and autonomous‑systems testing.
• Act as the feasibility anchor for both the solutions we propose to clients and the internal roadmap: guide the team on what to build and how to prioritise, grounded in hands‑on experience of what is realistic.
• Push back constructively when a client requests something that does not make technical sense or would demand disproportionate effort, and steer them toward a workable alternative.
• Advise customers on evaluation methodology: ODD specification, scenario design, simulation‑based and real‑world V&V, sensor‑data analysis, and model performance, robustness, and safety testing.
• Work with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure smooth handover from scoping to deployment.
• Maintain ongoing technical relationships with key government and defence accounts.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 to 10 years in solution architecture, ML/AI engineering, or technical consulting, with customer‑facing scoping experience.
• Technical depth across both computer vision and embodied AI / robotics / autonomous systems (perception stacks, ROS, simulation, sensor data).
• Experience designing solutions for enterprise and government customers.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills: comfortable in executive‑level conversations.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into customer business value.
• Experience with proposal writing, RFP responses, and formal requirements documentation.
• Self‑directed and comfortable operating across time zones and geographies.
• Comfortable carrying engagements through many conversations and consistent follow‑up rather than one‑off interactions.
• Thrives in ambiguity, where scope shifts as client needs and conversations evolve.
• Able to iterate on scope and ramp quickly to depth in unfamiliar technical areas.
• Due to the requirements of security clearance, we are only able to consider Singapore Citizens/Singapore Permanent Residents for this position.

Nice to Have

• AI evaluation or V&V experience: eval harnesses, benchmarking, model testing, or safety cases.
• Familiarity with autonomy V&V tooling: CARLA, Isaac Sim, Applied Intuition or Foretellix, OpenSCENARIO / OpenODD, rosbag / lidar / camera analysis.
• Experience in defence, robotics, or autonomous‑vehicle programmes.
• Understanding of AI governance and safety standards (ISO 26262, SOTIF, ISO 34503, DO-178C).
• Existing network in Singapore government or defence procurement.
• Experience with Palantir, Applied Intuition, or similar enterprise / autonomy software companies.
