Job summary

Resaro International is seeking a Forward Deployed Strategist to be the primary technical contact and bridge between clients, sales, product, and engineering. In this hybrid role, you will lead solution design and pre-sales across Computer Vision, Generative AI, and Embodied AI/Autonomy verification and validation, working with executives and AI engineers to translate concepts into production deployments.

The Role

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Strategist to serve as the primary technical point of contact and strategic bridge between our clients, sales, product, and engineering teams.

In this hybrid technical‑commercial role, you will lead solution design and technical pre‑sales across Computer Vision, Generative AI, and Embodied AI / Autonomy verification and validation (V&V) programs. You will work closely with client executives, AI engineers, risk, compliance, and procurement teams to transform experimental AI concepts into durable, safe, and secure production deployments.

What You’ll Do

Lead Strategic Client Engagement & Technical Pre‑Sales:

• Act as the first technical point of contact during pre‑sales discussions, technical workshops, demos, and solution‑design sessions for enterprise and defence clients.
• Build trusted relationships across business leadership, AI engineering, risk, governance, and security stakeholders.
• Scope complex client requirements across vision model assurance, LLM safety, and UGV/robotics autonomy testing into formal technical specifications and test strategies

Drive Forward Deployment & Solution Architecture:

• Design solution architectures that map client needs directly to Resaro’s AI assurance platform capabilities.
• Redesign operational evaluation processes and workflows to help clients navigate risk, streamline approval pathways, and accelerate deployment.
• Serve as the technical feasibility anchor - pushing back constructively on unrealistic requests, guiding client expectations toward workable alternatives, and informing internal product roadmap priorities.
• Advise clients on evaluation methodologies, including Operational Design Domain (ODD) specification, scenario design, simulation-based and real-world V&V, and model robustness testing.

Bridge Commercial, Engineering, & Field Execution:

• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to ensure seamless handovers from scoping to on‑site execution.
• Maintain long‑term technical relationships with key government, military, and enterprise accounts to uncover expansion pathways.
• Lead technical proposal writing, RFP responses, and requirements documentation.
• Translate client deployment learnings into scalable playbooks and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in technical consulting, ML/AI engineering, or solution architecture, forward deployment roles with heavy customer‑facing scoping experience.
• Technical Breadth: Strong technical depth spanning Computer Vision, Generative AI / LLM evaluation, and Embodied AI / Robotics (perception stacks, ROS, simulation, sensor data analysis).
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of engaging credibly with both C‑suite executives and hands‑on ML engineers.
• Analytical & Scoping Depth: Ability to draft formal requirements, craft detailed test strategies, and contribute to complex RFP responses.
• Execution & Autonomy: High degree of self‑direction, comfort operating in ambiguous environments, and sound technical judgment under incomplete information.
• T‑Shaped Profile: Broad working knowledge across enterprise cloud and AI infrastructure paired with deep specialization in AI testing or V&V.

Nice to Have

• Hands‑on experience with AI evaluation harnesses, red‑teaming, guardrails, or model safety cases.
• Familiarity with robotics/autonomy V&V tooling (e.g., CARLA, Isaac Sim, Applied Intuition, Foretellix, OpenSCENARIO/OpenODD, rosbag/lidar analysis).
• Working knowledge of AI safety standards and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 26262, SOTIF, ISO 34503, DO-178C).
• Background or existing network in Singapore government or defence procurement ecosystems.
• Experience with enterprise software implementations (e.g., Palantir, Applied Intuition, or top‑tier management consulting).
