Job summary

ST ENGINEERING URBAN SOLUTIONS LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Release Manager to oversee software releases, build and deployment pipelines, and ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires coordinating release schedules, automating build processes, and maintaining configuration and version control across teams. The ideal candidate has strong scripting, CI/CD experience, and familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Perforce, Jira, VMware, and ISO/CMMI standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in release management.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, ANT scripting and XML.
• Experience with Perforce, GIT, Jenkins and Jira.
• Experience with VMWare and managing Virtual Machines.
• Familiarity with IEC, ISO, or CMMI standards.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate release schedules and ensure timely delivery of software releases.
• Conduct release readiness and milestone reviews.
• Build, bundle, and prepare release notes for software components.
• Liaise with development and project teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Support continuous development and deployment pipelines.
• Oversee and improve release and build processes with emphasis on automation, rollback strategies, and quality.
