• Support line balancing and process optimization to improve throughput.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Apply Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and standardised work.

• Support NPI and process changes from capacity/production readiness perspective.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Drive production efficiency, capacity optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
• Support the software and automation aspects of manufacturing projects through programming and optimization of manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Provide guidance and training to production teams on Lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Analyse production demand and capacity requirements to identify gaps and constraints.
• Support production line balancing and process optimization to improve throughput and minimize bottlenecks.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Apply Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and standardised work.
• Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support new product introduction and process changes from a capacity and production readiness perspective.

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years experience in programming or software systems for manufacturing, industrial engineering, production engineering, or Lean Manufacturing.
• Good understanding of takt time, capacity planning, line balancing, and production optimization.
