Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Team Lead to drive project delivery and team performance in Singapore.

You will translate specifications into high-quality Java applications, lead design reviews, and ensure adherence to architecture standards. The role requires 3–6 years of experience with Java technologies, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a degree in CS/IT or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in developing and delivering application software.
• Proficient in Java-related technologies and software design principles.
• Strong communication, teamwork and customer-focused mindset.
• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or IT equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyse process specifications and translate into robust program code.
• Lead the team to ensure designs conform to architecture standards.
• Develop unit tests and document test results for quality.
• Assist in integration, system testing and UAT; fix reported issues.
• Prepare and maintain up-to-date system documentation.
