Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain systems for Private Wealth management. You will act as SME for the FinIQ platform and related banking tools, delivering quality code and collaborating with the team across the SDLC.

The role requires at least 5 years of Microsoft technologies experience, strong Private Wealth domain knowledge, and hands-on Azure development. You will participate in testing, documentation and production deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of software development using Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server/SSIS/SSRS, Azure).
• At least 3 years of experience working with the FinIQ platform for Private Wealth.
• Strong domain knowledge in banking, particularly in Private Wealth.
• Proficiency in SDLC methodologies, particularly waterfall models.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert for the Private Wealth system (FinIQ platform) and other assigned banking systems, including bespoke back-office tools.
• Analyze, design, develop, customize, test, implement, and maintain systems and applications to meet business needs, while overseeing team contributions and conducting peer reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and update functional and technical documentation, including test cases and deliverables, perform unit and system integration testing, support user acceptance testing, and ensure seamless production implementations while maintaining user manuals and operational documents.
• Involve in gather user requirements, perform technical impact analysis, and estimate development efforts for customization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing workarounds or collaborating with product vendors when necessary. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.
