Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking Full Stack Engineers to join government-focused product teams, delivering impactful digital solutions for public sector users and citizens.

You will collaborate with cross-functional squads, including QEs, UX designers, and product owners, to design, build, and enhance scalable software. The role requires strong fundamentals, cloud experience, and hands-on work with Go, .NET, TypeScript, Angular, and ReactJS, with an emphasis on secure, maintainable code and agile

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Strong software engineering and programming fundamentals.
• Experience in architecture, system design, and application integration to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Experience leading the technical delivery of software solutions from solution design to implementation.
• Experience in cloud-based application development and modern engineering practices, including Extreme Programming, Continuous Integration and Delivery.
• Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as Go, .NET, TypeScript, Angular, and ReactJS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team environments.
• Experience with SHIP-HATS, GitLab CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Have the desire to service the public through the use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Partner with government agencies to build and iterate on high-quality digital products that solve real user needs.
• Collaborate within cross-functional product teams comprising Full Stack Engineers, UX Designers, Product Managers and Product Owners to deliver user-centred solutions throughout the product management lifecycle.
• Understand business needs, refine product requirements, and translate them into scalable, user-centred technical solutions.
• Lead the architecture and system design for new features and external system integrations by analysing requirements and API/interface specifications, evaluating solution approaches and technical trade-offs, and producing scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs to support product planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leads, Infrastructure teams, and other engineering teams to validate solution designs, resolve cross-system dependencies, technical risks, and achieve alignment on architectural decisions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout implementation by coordinating technical delivery, guiding solution implementation, resolving technical challenges, and driving the successful delivery of solutions in accordance with engineering standards.
• Develop clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering best practices and knowledge sharing across the teams.
• Champion the adoption of modern technologies, engineering practices, and tools to improve product quality, delivery efficiency, system maintainability & user experience.
• Contribute actively to Agile way of working and Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives to ensure continuous product and team improvement.
• Provide operational support by monitoring application health, responding to production incidents, and implementing preventive improvements to enhance system reliability and resilience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS deployment, Terraform, Docker, or similar cloud infrastructure tools would be advantageous.
