Job summary

APAR TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that are secure and reliable. You will lead technical delivery from solution design through to implementation, contributing to architecture and integration across systems.

You’ll develop cloud-based applications using modern practices, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong software engineering and programming fundamentals.
• Experience in architecture, system design, and application integration.
• Experience leading technical delivery from solution design to implementation.
• Experience in cloud-based application development and modern engineering practices, including Extreme Programming (XP), Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following technologies: Go, .NET, TypeScript, Angular, and ReactJS .
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines .
• Experience with SHIP-HATS would be an advantage.
• Interest in using technology to contribute to public services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS deployment .
• Experience with Terraform, Docker , or similar cloud infrastructure tools.
• Experience with APEX or Cloud File Transfer (CFT) is advantageous.
