Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced software engineer in Singapore to design, build, and support the TradeNet Rebuild software products, taking complex problems from brief to production.

You will own end-to-end delivery including testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response, advocating technical proposals with data while remaining open to feedback. The role requires 8+ years in software engineering, strong fundamentals, cloud deployment, containerisation, and either

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering, preferably on large-scale systems.
Strong fundamentals across the full development lifecycle, testing, CI/CD, observability and security.
Experience deploying apps to cloud platforms with containerisation and orchestration.
Kotlin with ReactJS or Kotlin with PostgreSQL expertise.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support the software products underpinning the TradeNet Rebuild.
Take complex problems from an ambiguous brief through to production readiness, including testing, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
Advocate for technical proposals using data and sound judgment, while receptive to feedback and diverse perspectives.
Identify bottlenecks and improvements to systems and tooling, driving changes through to completion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex trade requirements into resilient, performant systems.
