Job summary

EPAM Singapore is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to build cloud-native, event-driven applications using Java, Spring Boot, React and Kafka. You will design microservices, ship through CI/CD and improve reliability in production on Microsoft Azure with a team that values clean engineering and ownership.

Responsibilities include building features, designing microservices and APIs, and collaborating cross-functionally in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java development in enterprise environments.
• Strong background in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and container tooling such as Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD workflows and production support practices.
• Solid knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and database integration patterns.

• Improve delivery pipelines using continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
• Deploy and run services on Microsoft Azure using containers
• Partner with product, QA and engineering peers in Agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive reliability improvements

Requirements

• Proven experience with Java development in enterprise environments
• Strong background in Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture patterns
