Job summary

EPAM Systems PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a senior software developer to join our global engineering teams. You will design and build C#/.NET solutions, REST APIs, and cloud-enabled platforms, working across Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

In this role you will mentor peers, contribute to architecture decisions, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git and CloudBees, while optimizing SQL Server performance in enterprise environments.

What You’ll Do

• Act as the technical custodian for existing applications, explaining architecture, business logic and key design decisions
• Design and develop C# and .NET solutions using Agile or Waterfall delivery practices
• Investigate and resolve issues using scripts, logs and SQL queries
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and engineers to refine requirements, user stories and delivery scope
• Produce functional specifications and system design documentation aligned to engineering standards
• Provide estimates for user stories and delivery work items
• Support CI/CD setup and release automation with DevOps and deployment teams
• Support production incidents and BAU activities including deployments across environments

What Will Make You Shine

• Relevant senior-level experience as a software developer, ideally nine years or more in enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET including .NET Framework and .NET (Core)
• Proven experience building REST APIs and integrating with enterprise systems
• Solid Microsoft SQL Server skills including troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git and CloudBees
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across system resources, logs and application stack traces
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery including estimation and release planning
• Experience supporting cloud or on-premises setups across multiple environments

Nice to Have

• Cloud certification in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience delivering high availability, performance and security across data centers or hybrid cloud
• Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to support reviews, refactoring and documentation
